Privacy Policy

footbadle is built to be played without handing over your personal information. This policy explains, in plain language, what data is involved when you use footbadle on the web or in our apps, and the choices you have.

The short version

• We do not require an account, name, or sign-up to play.
• Your game progress, streaks and settings are stored only on your own device.
• We use privacy-respecting analytics and, on the web, advertising — both described below.
• You can withdraw advertising consent at any time.

Information we collect

Game data (on your device). Your streaks, statistics, puzzle history and preferences are saved locally on your device. We cannot see this data and it never leaves your device unless you clear it yourself.

Anonymous solve counts. So that each mode can show a community figure like "1,243 solved today", our app sends an anonymous record when you solve a puzzle: the game mode, the puzzle date, how many guesses it took, and a randomly generated device identifier used only to avoid double-counting. This contains no personal information and cannot be used to identify you.

Analytics. We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which modes are played and to fix crashes. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you.

Advertising

To keep footbadle free, we show ads: Google AdMob in our mobile apps and Google AdSense on the web. With your consent, advertising partners may use cookies or device identifiers to show more relevant ads and measure their performance.

Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can learn more, and opt out of personalised advertising, at Google Ads Settings and www.aboutads.info.

Where required by law (for example in the EEA and UK), we ask for your consent before loading personalised ads, and you can change or withdraw that consent at any time. If you decline, you may still see non-personalised ads.

Cookies and local storage

On the web, footbadle and its advertising partners may use cookies and browser local storage to remember your preferences and consent choices and to deliver and measure ads. You can clear these at any time through your browser settings.

Children's privacy

footbadle is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices

• Clear your data: use the in-app "Reset statistics" option to delete your streaks and history from your device.
• Manage ad consent: change your choice through the consent controls or your Google Ads settings.
• Browser controls: block or clear cookies via your browser.

Data security and retention

The anonymous aggregate counts described above are stored on our servers only as totals; we keep no profile of you. Because we do not collect personal data, there is no personal account for us to retain or delete.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "last updated" date.
